i came here during the pandemic and only got a partial scholarship for the first year. if you wanna keep it you need over 90 in every subject which is kinda impossible lol teaching quality is really low, most teachers don't even know basic english and the international office is no help at all also a lot of students here just cause trouble, they get drunk and wake you up at 6am with noise. dorm is in bad condition, 3 ppl per room and i heard it's gonna be 4 now. i only stayed a few months then moved out and rented my own place only good thing is the food , easy to find and there's western food nearby overall i don't recommend coming here unless u really want to

i spent 4 years here doing my bachelor's in cs. my fav teacher was Wang laoshi, she was teaching chinese. during the whole 4 years i can say there was only like 2 good teachers, wang laoshi, and OS teacher, who retired unfortunately. the dorm is ok; 3 ppl in a room. the city is well connected. but this uni overall is not very good, the ranking is very low; please try to get into something better if you can; and if you are interested in research do not even think about coming here as there is no opportunities for that in there. if you want easy grading and just get a degree you can come. CS nowadays is all about self teaching anyways, the class programs won't give you what you need to work ofc.
